Austin Equine, primarily consisting of Sam and Louise Austin is a small company providing training services to the equestrian population around Henley-on-Thames and other surrounding areas.

We pride ourselves in having an intelligent, thoughtful approach to any equine training issues and these methods are mirrored in our teaching approaches to riders and horse people.

Our services include:

• Instruction.

For all ages and abilities, between us we have taught all through the levels and for 5 Pony Clubs accross the country. During the spring and autumn we also run very popular cross country schooling clinics at venues across the south of england.

• Schooling.
  

From PC ponies to youngsters to young event horses. Specialising in schooling Pony Club ponies and horses to improve them for their riders, both of us being under 10.5 stone and light, sensitive riders.

• Behavioural work.

Dealing with bad loaders, clippers, kickers, biters, leading issues and ridden problems. Locally we are the first port of call for problem loaders and we are both working towards becoming Reccomended Associates of the Intelligent Horsemanship association and hold our MRPCH certificates.

• Competing.

At all disciplines including affilliated eventing, showjumping and dressage. Or even just giving youngsters a good experience around their first 2'3" jumping!

• Sales

We occasionally have our own home produced stock for sale and sometimes advertise on behalf or our clients but we do not sell out of our yard although we can reccomend reputable yards that do.

Just a quick well done to a number of our students who have been out competing and doing very well over the last few week! Good work Emma (Eventers Challenge), Kate (ODE/ young riders dressage champs - which I cannot take any credit for), Olivia (BSJA Discovery), Anais (PC interschools dressage), Erin (90cm SJ)... among many others that are out having a good time and doing well!
